The Town of Yarrow Point is seeking a resident to fill a vacancy on the Planning Commission.

This is a volunteer position, and the appointed person will be filling an unexpired term that will end on December 31, 2028.

The Planning Commission is an advisory body to the Town Council responsible for providing guidance and direction for Yarrow Point’s future growth.

Responsibilities and duties include:

• Attending and participating in Planning Commission meetings, which take place at 6:00 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month.
• Reviewing and making decisions and recommendations on planning, land use, building development, zoning, middle housing, short term rentals, affordable housing, and representing the interests of Yarrow Point residents.
