Dear Yarrow Point Residents,

We are witnessing more and more electric bikes and scooters flying through the stop signs at intersections shared with automobiles and trucks. There have already been some near misses, which would have resulted in tragic accidents.

Please remind your children to not only wear helmets and observe the stop signs, but also be even more defensive on their bikes and scooters, since motorized vehicles sharing our roads sometimes do not observe the stop signs or see the cyclists/scooters/one-wheelers.

Thank you for making our neighborhood’s safety a top priority.
